Step 1

  1. Slide the Blade to the Side

    Start by safely sliding the ceramic clipper blade to the side. This ensures that the blade is positioned correctly for cleaning and reduces the risk of accidental cuts.

  1. Remove Excess Hair

    Use a soft toothbrush to gently brush away any excess hair from the blade.

    Alternatively, you can use an air compressor, a can of compressed air, or even a hair dryer to blow out the debris.

    Be sure to hold the clipper at an angle to effectively remove all particles.

Step 3

  1. Handle with Care

    Important: Ceramic blades are very brittle. Always use them on clean dogs to prevent dirt and debris from causing microchips along the edge of the blade. These microchips can lead to reduced cutting efficiency and may cause the blades to stop cutting altogether.

Step 4

  1. Clean the Blades

    After removing the excess hair, thoroughly clean the ceramic blades using a suitable clipper blade cleaner. Apply the cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring that all residues are removed to maintain the blade's sharpness and performance.
