Replacing old brushes in your K-9 III Dryer can be a little intimidating for some. Mostly because you're worried you might get it wrong and damage your equipment.
Let this step-by-step guide by Jessie give you the confidence you can do it, too and save yourself from headaches a few couple of hundreds from unnecessary visits to a technician.
In general, the old brushes are replaced by unfastening them and installing a pair of new ones.
Here's how to do it...
Use your flathead screwdriver to remove the old brush by putting it between the tab and the brush housing. Slowly and carefully use it as a lever to push the old brush away from the tab to take it out. Gently tap down on the flathead screwdriver to give it more force without damaging your brush or your motor.
Use a number 2 Phillip Screwdriver to unfasten the brush from the motor.
Notice that there is a little nib on the housing of your brush. That should be facing down. Gently push the brush down to the commutator of the motor. Also, make sure the copper tab goes in the slot above the brush. Make sure that the brush is seated all the way forward.
Use your no. 2 Phillip screwdriver to secure the new brush in place.
